The problem
When I joined, Agility had a genuinely hard product (enterprise advertising intelligence) and zero design function. The interface had grown feature by feature across hundreds of screens, each one locally reasonable and globally inconsistent. Sales demos needed a warning label, and onboarding an enterprise customer meant training people through the inconsistency instead of past it.
Agility needed two things at once: a system that could unify the product and a redesign of the product itself.
The decisions
The design system came first. I built the components, interaction patterns, and standards before redesigning the highest-visibility screens, so every subsequent redesign added to the same system. It unified hundreds of screens under one language, and each redesign after it shipped faster than the one before.

I kept contributing production front-end as Director. Shipping the components I designed removed ambiguity from handoff and kept the system honest, because I also maintained what I drew.

As AI became the company’s strategy, I pushed to make it the product’s primary interface. I introduced Brand DNA, a persistent context layer the AI could use for each customer’s brand, and designed workflows where users collaborate with the platform.

What shipped
I shipped a ground-up platform redesign, the design system behind it, Brand DNA, and the AI-native workflow layer.
Outcome
- $10M Series A raised during the platform’s evolution
- Grew to serve 30+ enterprise customers
